Sleep is a fascinating subject. Sometimes it seems the harder you try to sleep, the worse your sleep becomes.
Before I go to bed, I have a bed time ritual. I tell my patients to have one as well. I like to have a shower, but some prefer to have a bath. Some like to read before bed, and that is one of my rituals also. But one thing I tell them about reading is to make sure that they are reading something boring. Exciting books are out of the question; otherwise your mind will be involved in the excitement all night long.
Maybe this CD could be part of your ritual. Now I don’t want to say that this CD is boring; I’d rather say peaceful! The intention is to provide a focus for your thinking in the simplest of ways to allow natural sleep to take over.
